My name is Golan, and I am a certified Shiatsu and Tuina therapist with almost ten years of professional experience in the field. In 2024, I opened my private clinic in a serene location between Massa Marittima and San Galgano Abbey in Maremma, Tuscany. I have been welcoming both local and international patients who live in or are visiting the provinces of Grosseto and Siena.
I completed a B.Sc and an M.Sc in life sciences at Tel Aviv University, where I acquired extensive knowledge in the fields of anatomy, physiology and pathology, but I was looking for ways to combine it with therapeutic approaches that saw a person as more than just a living being, but rather as a combination of body, mind, and spirit. I found this combination in Chinese and Japanese medicine, as I became more connected to the fields of touch therapy. I then decided to enroll at the "Tmurot College of Alternative Medicine" for three years, graduating with an expertise in Shiatsu therapy (Certificate). After completing my studies, I continued to teach theoretical and practical college courses while practicing both in my private clinic and in the public health system. In 2023, I completed a 2-year program at the "New York College of Health Professions" in New York City (Certificate), from which I hold a degree in Massage Therapy (Sports/Medical/Swedish/
Prenatal/ Deep-Tissue Massage). I am licensed in New York State as of 2023.
